U2SID Final Conference: A Celebration of Achievements and Future Commitments
27 February to 1 March 2025
The Final Conference of the Erasmus+ U2SID Project took place from February 27 to March 1, 2025, at Fan S. Noli University, Korçë, bringing together partners from Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, and Italy to reflect on the project’s impact and discuss the future of inclusive digital transformation in higher education.
Day 1: Opening & Key Discussions
The conference began with the official opening ceremony, where representatives from academia, industry, and civil society highlighted the role of universities in bridging the digital divide. A panel discussion explored how project-based learning and collaborative approaches have helped students develop real-world digital solutions. The day concluded with a workshop on sustainability, ensuring that the impact of the project continues beyond its official timeline.
Day 2: Student Innovation & Best Practices
The second day was dedicated to showcasing student-led digital transformation projects, developed as part of the Digital Transformation Challenge. Teams presented innovative solutions addressing education, civic engagement, and economic challenges, demonstrating how universities can drive inclusive and sustainable digitalization. Partners also shared best practices and lessons learned, reinforcing the importance of collaborative learning and cross-sector engagement.
Day 3: Steering Committee Meeting & Future Steps
The final day focused on project closure and sustainability. During the Steering Committee Meeting, partners discussed final reporting, budget management, and the transition of project resources to a shared archive. An important takeaway was the commitment to ongoing collaboration, with a roundtable event at the University of Shkodër on March 18 to further reflect on U2SID’s impact.
Looking Ahead
As U2SID reaches its conclusion, its impact will continue through the networks, knowledge, and digital solutions created over the past two years. The project has demonstrated that inclusive digital transformation is not just a goal—it is a process that requires ongoing collaboration, innovation, and shared commitment.
A special thank you to Fan S. Noli University, Korçë, for hosting this important event and to all partners for their dedication throughout this journey.
