Training on Digital Literacies Boosting Digital skills in Higher Education in Albania- U2SID workshop at the University of Shkoder “Luigj Gurakuqi”

In an era marked by rapid technological advancement and digital transformation, the University of Shkoder “Luigj Gurakuqi”  has embarked on a visionary path to ensure its community remains at the forefront of digital proficiency. Guided by comprehensive digital skills analysis and the innovative framework provided by the U2SID Project’s Digital Accelerator Programme, the University of Shkoder “Luigj Gurakuqi” has meticulously designed two training sessions tailored to meet the evolving needs of our students, academics and stakeholders.

 

The training on 4 April, designed for academics and stakeholders represented a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical digital skills. It was tailored for those aspiring to enhance professional portfolio, looking to make the mark in digital sphere, or simply aiming to stay abreast of the latest digital trends and tools. The approach not only enhanced learning outcomes but also facilitated a rich networking platform for all participants.

 

With a focus on practical application, the student-centered training workshop offered on 5 April covered practical topics in digital literacy. The hands-on training session was crafted to provide students with practical skills and insights into digital literacies, ensuring they are well prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities in the digital era. The training represented a unique opportunity for students to apply their learning in meaningful ways, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. By participating, students not only enhanced their digital skillset but also gained confidence in their ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
